Speak those things into existence.

     One thing that I have come to know is if you want or need God to move in your life then you need to begin to speak into existence what it is you are seeking. When you open your life to the positive I believe you get the attention of God and He answers your requests. He answers your prayers, but by the surrender of yourself to the heart of God you open a new door that no man can shut. The bible says that when God opens a door no man can shut it and if He closes a door no man can open it (Revelation 3:7). When we surrender to Him, we prompt Him to open doors for us.

     Think about this, when you worship and you lift up your arms toward heaven, you feel a release. There is something there that was not there a minute before. It is God and He is moving in your life. When we lift our arms and our hearts to Him, it stirs Him to move because it is surrender that He is looking for. Too many times we miss the mark. We are looking for things to happen in our lives, in our ministries, but we miss the mark by thinking, when we should in fact be praising God and worshipping Him.

     We need to start giving God what God expects and that is our total and complete surrender. We need to realize that God already knows our heart and He knows how we are going to react to situations, but it is us who need to realize that if it were not for God then we would indeed have absolutely nothing. I fail this test all of the time, but God is so gracious and so loving He always gives me a second, third, fourth chance to surrender to Him. If you really wanted to be honest about the whole surrender thing then you would indeed surrender every time in every instance, but you and I both know that we are not perfect and we will never be and there are going to be those times when we try to get ahead of God and try to get it done ourselves to which we fail miserably.

     Do you want to see things happen in your life? Are you looking for the supernatural to move into your life and heal you and set you free? Then I have the perfect answer for you, begin to worship and praise God regardless of what it may look like through your eyes or through any situation and you will move God to move on your behalf and whatever you ask for in His name shall be yours (John 11:22). Seek God first and save yourself a lot of pain and strife. You have done it before and nothing has changed since that time. God is still who He has always been and He does everything exactly the same way every time. The bible says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The surrender to him has never changed and it has been what he has been seeking from us since the beginning.

     Right now right where you are just lift your hands to Him and begin to feel His presence in your life and then ask Him for what it is in your life that you need and it shall be yours.
