God Will Meet You Right Where You Are At

My thought for today is RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE AT

I have said many times and I want to say again, God will meet you right where you are at. He doesn’t wait until you get your life together before he will accept you. He will take you just like you are and then he will make the changes that needed in your life.

There are those right now who have maybe never heard the salvation message or they have heard and have chosen to walk away. The problem with either one is that if the trumpet sounds and they are not ready then there is no second chance. God wants to meet them exactly where they are at, right now and at that place. If either of them is you, then you have a life of death decision that you have to make.

Remember, I told you that God will meet you right where you are at and there is nothing that you need to do but to accept his invitation. There is not one person who has chosen to follow Christ that was exempt from that decision to accept. Jesus says in John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. You may think that I am being redundant but it is the truth.

If you are looking for things to happen in your life the one key to those things taking place is accepting and having Jesus in your life. It is imperative to receiving a miracle that God be a part or it just doesn’t happen. Not to say that it won’t, just that it is really taking the long way around. Many people never ask for a touch from God because they are messed up and their life is in total disaster. They say to themselves that God would never accept them the way they are, but they could not be further from the truth.

God wants that every living being on this earth follow him, but there are those who no matter how hard you talk and how much truth you tell them they are not going to accept. For those people all I can say is “may God bless their souls”. The bible does say however that there will be those but it is still heartbreaking when you know the truth and they will not listen. Many times I have told people what Jesus said in John 8:32, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." All I can do is pray that they understand that if they know the truth (Jesus) they will be free from the hold that the world has on them.

I know that there are some who may think that I am a broken record that just keeps on repeating, but this is so very important to every person that I just can’t help but try my best. I know that there came a day when I made that decision and I have never regretted that decision. It has not been easy but it has been more than anything I could have ever expected. God accepted me right where I was at in my deepest stuff and doing drugs and loved me and changed me each day. I didn’t have to clean myself up first before he would accept me, he took me just the way I was.

Maybe there are some who thinks that this is just the thoughts of an old man, but there are millions of us who believe and millions of us who God met right where we were at. None of us had to change first it was just the way we were. You are no different and God wants you to be a part of his family.

If you are reading this and you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or you knew him once but walked away right now is the best time ever to do that. All you have to do is right now where you are just say, “Jesus, forgive me come into my life and take control. I accept you as my Lord and Savior and want you to change me from the inside out. I surrender to you and wait upon you. Thank you Jesus for your saving touch and I pray this in the Name of Jesus. Amen”.
