The bible tells us not to judge, but I can’t help but think about all of those lost souls who accept what is happening right now in our country. I have heard people say that though they live the lifestyle they do there are Christians among them. To that I have to say there is no way. When they chose to go against the Word of God, they chose to commit the unforgiveable sin and more or less laugh in the face of God. They in essence have said to God we will do what we want and there is nothing you can do about it, so get lost. Remember what the bible says, Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.’ Deuteronomy 32:35.

 

You know I read a story just yesterday about a man named Lot and the city he lived in. They too chose to go against the Word of God and for those of you who don’t already know the story, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were completely destroyed by God and all of the people who lived there other that Lot and his family who were spared. But the story doesn’t end there by any means. It seems that Lot’s wife was so attached to the city that she disobeyed what the Angels had told them to do and she had to turn and see what was happening and she was turned to a pillar of salt. Just because you do not live that lifestyle, if you accept It then you are just as guilty as you too have decided to turn away from the Word of God and ignore what He has to say. Sin is sin and to that regard, God will judge.

I am not saying that God is going to destroy our country but one thing is for sure, He can’t allow it to continue without some type of retribution. People are sinning and they are doing it with no regard to our Lord. They are throwing it in the face of those who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and it absolutely no respect of any sort. May they see the errors of their way before it is too late, and may they repent before the Almighty God?

Judgement is God’s and may God have mercy on their souls should they not repent. You can say of me what you want and try to come up with an argument against me, but I believe in the Word of God and I will follow it to the very end. I will not judge, but I will continue to pray that God will intervene in their lives that they may turn and accept Him. It is a very sad day in our country and may God speak to those who so blatantly ignore Him and have mercy on their souls.

I have noticed a subtle change in some people I know and it has prompted me to pray for them. Some people are becoming more liberal in their beliefs and that is a warning sign of things to come. We cannot be liberal about what the bible says and we cannot compromise what it has to say.

As I watch the news I see people turning their heads to different situations and mentioning how it is really not that bad, at least they didn’t kill anyone. People are accepting the things that God has deemed bad and that is against the word. In Isaiah 5:20 the bible warns  Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

In an article by Alan Mansager of Yahweh’s New Covenant Assembly, he addresses the top ten signs we are in the end times. I will just list what he says is the ten and let you decide for yourself.

†     A loss of the sense of right and wrong.

†     Lawbreaking that goes unpunished

†     The traditional family turned on its head

†     Overthrow of patriarchal order

†     Sexual deviancy

†     Escalating crime

†     Wars and commotions

†     Caring and concern for one another vanishing

†     Important religious institutions

†     Prejudice against true Biblical religion

Just in case you did not notice it, many of those things are true today. I have no idea what to do other than pray and I surely don’t want my family and friends falling into the pit that the devil has dug. We need to be watchful and seek the face of God and not look at what the world is throwing at us. We need to be like Peter and keep our eyes focused on Jesus and get out of the boat and walk on the water. We need to strengthen our faith and the way to do that is to spend more time in the word and in prayer.

Things are going to happen just as God has said and there is no getting around them, but we can help ourselves and strengthen ourselves that we not become victims but become victorious in the Name of Jesus.

 

Have you ever wondered or asked yourself how much can God do? If that is the case I have an answer for you or maybe even the only answer to that question. God does everything whether you see it or not period. You do not live if God is not doing it for you. God breathed life into you and it is that breath that God provides for you that continues to keep you living, take that breath away and you will be no more. There is really nothing that happens in our life that God does not provide or that God does on our behalf.

Please take just a few moments and look back over your life and look at the times when you don’t know what happened but somehow you made it through and accident, a sickness or some other traumatic thing. People say it was a miracle or the doctor was the one, or my car swerved at the very last second and for the most part never give God the glory for the real reason it was averted or you were saved. I know that to be true because I did that very thing, I stopped and looked back on my life and I was horrified at some of the things that happened yet I was totally blessed because even though I did not know Jesus as my personal savior He saved me. I thought so much about my life that I wrote a book about it called “I See God In It”. I looked at every instance in my life and had no explanation but somehow I knew it was God.

I am sure that others are or could be a part of why things turned out the way they did, but have you ever thought that maybe God was the one who prompted that person to help or that it was God who gave that doctor the ability to do what he does. So many people want to discount what God has done because they really don’t want to admit that it was God or that people might think them crazy I would challenge you to always remember that without your breath you would not be here and there is no one on this earth that can provide that for you other than God.

A few years ago I read this poem and realized just how much God does do and it changed my perspective on my life and it can change yours as well. The poem is If God Should Go On Strike.

IF GOD SHOULD GO ON STRIKE

How is it that God above
Has never gone on strike
Because he was not treated fair
In things He didn't like.

If only once He'd given up,
And said, 'That's it, I'm through!
I've had enough of those on earth,
So this is what I'll do;

I'll give my orders to the sun -
'Cut off the heat supply!'
And to the moon - 'Give no more
Light, and run the ocean dry.'

Then just to make things really tough
and put the pressures on,
'Turn off the vital oxygen
till every breath is gone!'

You know, He would be justified
if fairness was the game.
For no one has been abused
or met with more disdain

Than God, any yet He carries on
Supplying you and me
with all the favors of His grace
And everything for free.

Men say they want a better deal
And so on strike they go.
But what a deal we've given
To God to whom all things we owe.

We don't care whom we hurt
To gain the things we like.
But what a mess we'd all be in
If God should go on strike!!

Everyone should stop get off of the merry go round we call the world and take a serious look at our lives. God does things for a purpose and for a reason, some may say it happened for this or that reason but if you know God and serve Him you know otherwise. If you don’t know God then there is no time like now to surrender and have a source of life that will change you forever. We all have to make our own decisions because God gave us a free will and people need to remember that the decision they make they will have to live with. Take note of this if you are considering following Jesus, this life is very short but eternity is forever and the decision you make today will either give you eternal life in happiness and love or eternal life in agony and destruction. The choice is totally and completely yours. No one can make that decision for you, it is the one decision you will have to make on your own. Remember what the bible says in John 14:6, Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me. You can do all the good you want but unless you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior you have nothing. One last statistic I will leave you with to help you in your decision the world statistic is this, One out of One of us are going to die and nothing we can do will ever change that. The decision is yours and I pray that you make the right one.

How much can God do? Everything and without Him we have nothing.
