What do I need to do to be Saved?
There is a way to rectify, to cure any situation that has happened in your life that has you asking what I need to do to be saved. That way is to come to know Jesus as your personal Savior.
It took me many years to accept Jesus but it was the best decision that I ever made. He met me right where I was and accepted me just as I was. I didn’t have to get everything in my life straightened out first. God began the straightening out part inside of me after I was saved, and I will be forever grateful.
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Savior and you want to, all you have to do is to invite Him into your life and ask Him to take control. Maybe at one time you knew Jesus as your personal Savior and you chose to walk away. Whatever the situation may have been, all you have to do is ask Him in and He will accept you just as you are.
Say this simple little prayer and mean it with all of your heart and you will be saved. Pray something like this: “Jesus, forgive me. Come into my life and take control. I need your help and I am asking you to be my Savior. I surrender to you, Lord, and I ask you to take the stumbling blocks out of my life and replace them with the things that come from you. Father, I ask you to touch me and heal me in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are saved and your name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Tell someone that you have given your life to the Lord. Then find a Bible believing church and get into fellowship with other believers who can help you along your new journey. Get a bible and begin to read it every day to help you put the Word of God in your heart. Start by reading the Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; then read the Psalms and Proverbs. As you begin to read, ask God to teach and show you what His word means and how you can apply it to your life.
Now, my friend, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please contact me and tell me about your decision and I will be certain to respond to you. I will be praying for you and asking God to keep His mighty hand upon you.
God bless you, and you will never regret your decision. Ever!
