Jesus stood up and gave a command to the wind and the water. He said, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind stopped, and the lake became calm. (Mark 4:39 ERV)

Imagine the power of God that He spoke to the wind and it obeyed Him. Even the disciples said in vs 41 said, “What kind of man is this? Even the wind and the water obey Him.” They were with Him and yet they still did not understand completely who they were with. Imagine the power and the awesomeness of what was happening.

Now that you can imagine the awesomeness of what the disciples experienced, imagine what it is like today with Jesus in your boat. There would be unbelievable things happening; and wow just being with Jesus. Look at all of the things that happened whenever Jesus was anywhere near a boat. He calmed the seas, Peter walked on water, and there were more fish than the nets could hold and so on. Our lives are in desperate need of the Jesus in the boat theory. With Jesus in your boat the possibilities of tremendous miracles are unlimited.

With Jesus in your boat you will be walking side by side with the master. You have been given the same authority of Jesus and nothing will be impossible for you. Jesus even said these things I do you too will do but even greater. Jesus calmed the storm with authority and the words, Be Still. You have been given the authority to speak to the storms in your life with that very same authority. In the name of Jesus speak it and say, Be Still. One of the main reasons we don’t succeed at this authority is because we maybe have tried it once and the storm continued. The storm continued because of our lack of faith.

I remember a time I spoke to my storm and absolutely nothing happened and maybe the winds picked up even more. My storm seemed to go from storm to disaster and it was almost enough to devastate me. Then I heard a voice that told me not to give up, to press in and call out with the Name of Jesus. I did and in a very short time, what I classed as a disaster was nothing more than a passing breeze. Of course it has not always worked that way with me because for some reason I keep forgetting what God has said. One day I will get it right but until then I will continue to press in and not give up.

With Jesus in our boat we have the reassurance of protection and peace in the midst of a storm. Jesus is there and He is looking to help us if we will only call out on Him. We need to put our faith to work in our lives and not be afraid. Jesus asked the disciples what are you afraid of and then He spoke, Be Still. What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of the storm that you may be capsized and be lost, or are you just afraid because you do not know? Whatever it is, with Jesus in your boat you have nothing to fear and you can look at your storm and speak as Jesus, BE STILL!

How many disasters is it going to take before we turn to God. God said, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. (2 Chronicles 7:14) I see the news and find that somewhere in the world there has been a flood, there has been an earthquake or there has been a super typhoon and people are calling out to the Lord to help them and to touch them. As soon as the dangers have passed then it is life as use to be, no God no thank you and the attitude of I can do it myself.

In my opinion, they have been given a sign of what is to come and they should know that each time God does something and you return to the way it was, each time you harden your heart toward what He can do. I heard when in Cebu Philippines from Bishop Ben Tagud right after I had taught in the bible school, “students he said, God has given us a sign or a warning that we need to return back to him. Bishop Tagud quoted this scripture and then sang a chorus on that same scripture. He said that God was showing them that if we would do  what the scripture says He will heal our land”. Bishop Tagud is exactly right, God gave a warning to His people to turn to Him. Many people lost their lives both saved and unsaved, and it is the latter that really bothers me. Did they surrender their hearts to the Lord? Did they speak the name of Jesus with their last breath? We don’t know but this we do know, God is not playing, He is in this for your soul.

I had many people tell me when I was in the Philippines this past November of how thankful they were that God rescued them, to which I would ask them “do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? The problem for me was when they answered God rescued me and that was enough. For all of you to know, that is not enough and unless you have that one on one relationship with Him you have nothing. God gave those who do not know Him another opportunity to receive him and if they turn away their heart will become even harder and maybe the next time it is too late. Maybe the next time the trumpet sounds and Christ returns. When that trumpet sounds time is no more as we know it and there are no second chances or third chances. As Jesus said on the cross, “It is Finished”. (John 19:30)

Those who were given another chance no matter what the circumstance, a car accident, a severe sickness, a typhoon, an earthquake, this could be your last chance to receive Jesus before He returns, only God knows. The importance to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior is never so prevalent as it is right now. I am certain from the things I read in the bible that “No one knows the day or the hour” and surely God cannot allow what is going on in our world today to continue. People turning from Him left and right with no real justification as to why other than they believe in what they see and not in what they don’t see.

People, I have no idea how much time we have left on this earth, but I think it would be better to have pain and suffering in my life and when I die go to heaven than it would to have perfect health and everything I ever wanted and die and never know Jesus as my savior. Jesus came and died just for you so that you can have eternal life free from pain and suffering. God loves you more than you will ever know and if you don’t know how much that is, just look at how much He loves Jesus. There is no time like right now to look to heaven and say in your heart Father forgive me. Come into my life and take control. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. In the Name of Jesus, Amen. "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Mark 13:32) Do you really want to take that chance of not knowing Jesus has your Lord and Savior? The choice is yours and I pray you make the right one!

I would love to try something. Many times I have dreams and thoughts that I would like to tell somebody about but I don't want them to think that I have lost my mind. Reading the bible it said that God called those things that are not as though they were and that is what I want to do. We need to speak things into existence and that is what I am talking about.

I would like to see if there is anyone brave enough to speak what they think others might think is ridiculous and speak those things into existence. I will start and if you are so lead and want to be obedient what God is telling you to do then I want you to comment.

A couple of years ago, I had a dream that someone sent a very large sum of money to our ministry so we would be able to go and minister at any given moment. We travel to the Philippines and it has been a desire of mine to go every year and spend anywhere from three to six months at a time. I began to speak this out loud all of the time. I have told others about it and I will continue to do so until God answers that dream. I am going to speak that which is definitely not as though it were and trust that it is in God's will for our ministry.

That was easy to do and now let's see what else God wants to do. Send your comments and we at RMI will agree with you for that dream, word, or thought. When the saints band together we are totally unstoppable.

CALL THOSE THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE!

SPEAK WHAT WE DO NOT SEE OR KNOW INTO EXISTENCE AND BELIEVE THAT HE IS LORD!

It appears that there are some people who don’t understand the fact that Jesus is the same today as He was two thousand years ago. The bible says in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever”. I am not sure what part of yesterday and today and forever people can’t understand. God made it perfectly clear and nothing has changed.

There are people who are in desperate need of healing and yet they try to cling onto something that is not there and that the world says can happen. Where ever Jesus went He healed, that was yesterday. Jesus said, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father (John 14:12)  that is today. Until the day that Jesus returns, He will continue using us as His vehicle to lay hands on the sick and they will be healed in the Name of Jesus and that is forever.

Those people who need that desperate healing can and will be healed. They need to surrender their desire to God and realize that He is the same as always and will always be the same. God does not want them to suffer, He just wants them to believe. The world has nothing to give and will never have anything to give. Those things that come from the world is only temporary and will fade away, but the things of God will go on forever.

You may need a healing and you may need a miraculous healing, that is what God does. The condition for a miracle is difficulty, but the condition for a great miracle is impossibility and we serve a God of  impossibility. Jesus thanked His Father and the blind could see, He thanked His Father and the lame could walk, He thanked His Father and the dead came back to life. Can you see a pattern here? Whenever you thank God the Father the impossible happens and the condition is met and it is no longer part of the equation. Paraphrasing what Jesus said, those things that you have seen me do, you too will do but even greater. Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead and what an opportunity because Jesus said we too will do them and even greater.

I have prayed for people all over the world and everyone had the same thing in common, they wanted a touch from the Father. We need to put faith into action and begin to believe in what  we read in the bible or we are just spinning our wheels. Man cannot do what God can do and it requires our faith to be ignited in the times of adversity. Matthew 19:26 says, “for man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. I want you to see the main truth in that statement, WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever and He healed yesterday and He will continue to heal today and forever.

I believe that no matter what the situation or no matter what the need, God will hear and He will deliver. You must remember that God never said when He would heal you or if He would heal you. He said that He would deliver to you what is according to His will. You may be suffering with a sickness and you are asking God to heal you and God is saying to you, “I want you to surrender to Me”. Many times I hear the comment that I prayed for healing and God did not heal and my friend, my family member or whatever, when God may have broken through a tough exterior and they were set free and received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and when you think about that, they are healed because the bible says there is no sickness no pain no suffering in Heaven. We don’t know why God touches some and heals them while others pass on but it is important for you to understand that every person is allotted just so much time on this earth. It does not make any difference what you do or who you are. The statistics do not lie, one out of one of us are going to die and therefore it is more important that we have that relationship with Jesus Christ and know that if God does not heal us on this earth He will heal us in heaven. The alternative is not good at all if you don’t have Him as Lord and Savior.

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Savior then now is the time. You don’t have to get yourself in order before you come to Him. You don’t have to go take a bath then come to Him because God accepts you just as you are and right where you are at. When I came to the Lord I was doing drugs and my life was a total mess, yet He accepted me and over a short period changed my life, right where you are and right where you are at, no strings attached. Love Him and things begin to change, turn from Him and struggle along. For man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Ask Jesus to come into your life and you will never be the same no never. Pray with me, Father, I ask you to come into my life and I also ask you to forgive me. I never realized the person I had become and I need your touch on my life. I accept you as my Lord and Savior and I surrender to you. Touch my life and change me Lord. In the Name of Jesus. Amen!

If you prayed that prayer, know that you are saved. Get a bible and begin to read His Word. Get yourself into a bible believing church so that you can be mentored and ministered to by other believers. Let me and others know of your decision and I will pray for you. God says if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord then you will be saved. You are saved and let me be the first to say, Welcome to the Family.

 

I can’t help but to think about the scripture that Angus Buchan started the ministry that God gave him with. The scripture is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and it says, “for if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. What a scripture and just as great was what a message that it brought.

 

We need to take this scripture and live it every day. Whether anyone has noticed or not, the devil is beginning to subtly bring to existence things that are so wrong and so evil and people seem to accept it as if to say, “oh well it is just part of our society”. How wrong could they possibly be, it is not part of our society and the bible has given us warning after warning even to the point of telling us that in the last days the scoffers will come scoffing and following their own evil desires. Now we have reached a critical point in this world that either we need to repent and seek God or He will destroy us.

 

It has always been my goal since I have been in ministry to lead others to Christ and nothing has changed except to say there is a urgency for this to happen. I know that no matter what I have to say there will be those who will never turn their eyes or hearts toward God and for those people the only thing I can say is May the Lord have mercy on their souls. For all of the others now is the time and today is the day to receive Jesus into your life. I really don’t think we have the luxury of waiting, we must do it today and right now! God cannot allow this world to continue in the way it is going now. Jesus said that one day He would return and we should be watching for that to happen.

 

We have gotten so relaxed in our everyday life and we seem to just accept  what is going on around us. We say to ourselves, “well it does not affect me so why should I worry about it” when we should be praying for a move of Christ. It does affect us and if nothing more, just think about the people who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, what about them? What about those people who have never been given the opportunity to receive Jesus. You might think that how could they not know when in essence they don’t. Before I became a Christian I had never heard about Jesus and I would guess that you didn’t either. So what about those people? You see it does affect you because one day you will stand before God and He will say to you, I put people in your path and you ignored them with the statement it does not affect me. What are you going to say then.

 

Those who don’t know about Jesus and those who have chosen to ignore Him are our responsibility no matter what their response is. God isn’t asking us to wrestle them to the ground until they submit their lives to Him. God is asking us to tell them about Him and then He will take it from there. So, you see it does matter to us and there is something we can do. Pray! Pray that God will hear our prayer and heal our land. Pray that people will see the wicked ways about them and turn to God. Pray that we will seek His face no matter what and humble ourselves to Him. In other words Pray.

 

Angus Buchan took a scripture that God had placed in his heart and thousands were saved because he took that scripture and shared it regardless of what others thought. We are not different than Angus Buchan, God has put a message, a scripture in our hearts and told us to go preach the gospel (Matthew 16:15) We desperately need to humble ourselves and seek His face and ask Him to open the hearts of those who He puts in our path that they will surrender and then the healing begins.

 

Too many times I hear people say, I wish God would show me what my calling is or what He wants me to do, when every day He puts people in our path to minister to and tell them about Him. You don’t need a parade to let you know or you don’t need an evangelist to tell you what God wants you to do, God wants you to ask Him and seek His face and in the meantime He will place people in front of you to minister to. Let’s just say it is basic training to get you to the place He has called you. The bible says that if you are faithful with the small things (telling someone about Jesus) He will put you in charge of the big things (world evangelist, lead pastor). The only thing you need to concern yourself with is doing what God tells you to do.

 

My message is simple and even if you know Jesus or not, God loves you so much that I am certain that  He weeps every time He sees how we are acting here on earth. God loves you with a love that is so massive you cannot imagine, dream or think that high. If He gave his only Son that we might have life and that we might live a life of joy and peace and feel that love in our lives. The only thing He is asking in return is that we love Him. That we trust in Him and that we surrender our lives to Him. Speaking from experience, I tried living my life on my own and I totally messed it all up. The day I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior, things began to change and I have never have looked back. God saved me and He showed me that love He has for me. With that love He has for me I am going to pass it along whether they listen or not, I am going to tell them then my work is done. My whole goal is to stand before God one day and hear Him say to me, WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT other than that nothing else matters from this world.
