So many times, I wonder why people ignore the Word of God. Maybe they feel convicted, or maybe they simply ignore it because they say to themselves, no one is going to tell me what to do. What ever the reason is, they are making the biggest mistake of their lives. Oh, they will argue and say, how do you know they are making a mistake, but the simple fact is that if they want to have eternal life with peace and love and happiness, the bible says that you must have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In my words, Jesus is the only way, Jesus is the only truth, and Jesus is the only life. If I want to go to heaven and be with the Father, then I must have a relationship with his son Jesus Christ. Those who argue the fact or just flat out ignore the fact are making a mistake. They don’t realize the mistake, nor do they understand the meaning, but one day as the bible says, every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. There is no getting around it. You can’t hide. You can’t just ignore it or argue it. It will happen! I realize that not everyone is going to enter into heaven, and not everyone is going to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but this I do know. One day I was totally lost and had nowhere to go and Jesus spoke to me and lifted me up. I made the commitment that day to forever follow him. It took a little longer to share what he had done, but I accepted what he wanted me to do, and that was to go and tell everyone about how much he loves them and how they too could redeem themselves by accepting his invitation for salvation. If they only knew, their lives would be so much richer, and the fact of just knowing that when they pass on they will be in the presence of the Lord would at the very least give them peace of mind. I know for me, my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and while I am still living, I will preach the gospel without reservations. God loves you more than you will ever know. For those who want to argue or reject what God has to say, I ask you this. “Why not try it? Look deep into your heart and ask yourself, “Is my life as good as I think it is and when I die will I go to Heaven? If the answer to either one of these are no, then maybe you should seek out God and he will help you. Let me ask you one more thing, “What if it is True? What if it is not just some person trying to convert you to something? I can tell you that it is very much true, but you must find that out for yourself. God loves you more than you will ever know, but don’t take too long because soon and very soon he will return then it will be too late.
