Miracle Healing of God

I need to give you a very powerful testimony of the power of God. I want to tell you a story my way and it will be a paraphrase of Matthew 5:25-34.

The bible tells us in the book of Matthew that there was this woman who had been very ill for over twelve years. One day in the center of town, she heard that Jesus was going to be walking through and a thought crossed her mind that if she could just touch the hem of his garment she would be healed. Without any hesitation she pushed through the crown and got close enough to him and she reached out and her fingers touched the hem of his garment, and that was more than enough to be healed. But suddenly, Jesus turned and asked the crowd who touched me and the woman became frightened. Knowing that Jesus knew that he was touched the woman came forward and told him that she had touched him and Jesus then said to her that her faith had healed her and from that moment on she was completely healed.

This is a great story of having faith to know that God can heal you and that he wants to heal you. That same story is true today and is done in the same way if you have the faith to believe that God can actually heal you.

For me this story came alive on August 16, 2012 at Northwest Four Square Church in their healing room. My wife and I had taken a very good friend of ours there so he could be prayed for because diabetes had caused him to lose a toe and he has been in a rehabilitation center. Little did Lorraine and I know that on that very evening God was going to touch us as well.

We had filled out a card letting them know that we were first time visitors and then suddenly they called us up front. Being a pastor I never gave it a second thought and we went up to meet the pastor. I had blown out my left knee a little more than a month ago and the pain was very intense. I had to walk with a cane to help support myself and there was no way I could get into the doctor’s office until September the 17th. My wife had sufferings of her own because she was dealing with a vertebra that was protruding due to an injury she had suffered at work and her pain was constant and un-daunting. She had been doing physical therapy and was about to enter into a series of neck stretches.

To make a very long story short, we allowed the prayer team to pray for us and during the next two hours that is what they did. God would speak to one of them and they would then begin to pray for that need in our lives and in our bodies. During the time of their praying for us the scripture of the woman in Matthew began passing through my mind and my thought was if I could just touch the hem of his garment I would be healed.

Suddenly, the power of God flowed through my entire body and I could feel the pain leaving not only my leg, but my heart, my back and my head. I was healed and I knew it. I have suffered from many health issues over the past few months and though I had told no one other than my wife about the valves in my heart not working correctly, God showed those on the prayer team exactly what was going on and they prayed and God healed. My wife has the exact same testimony about her healing and how God supernaturally touched her body and in an instant God healed her as well. We are both healed in the Name of Jesus completely and we felt the power of God leave him and enter into us.

If you are struggling with health issues and need a mighty touch of God in your body, read the scripture in Matthew and pray that over you. You don’t need anything or anybody to touch you, all you need to do is to reach out and touch the hem of his garment and you will be healed. You will be healed by the power of God and in the mighty Name of Jesus. Claim the victory and stop allowing the enemy access into your life and into your health. I the name of Jesus I pray, God touch each and every person who has health issues right now. Pass by them Lord and allow them to touch your garment that they may be made whole again. Father, I ask you to heal them in the Name of Jesus and that their healing is complete and immediate. Father I thank you for healing and I give you all of the Praise and all of the Glory in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Pray that prayer and pray that scripture and God will do for you what he did for that woman over two thousand years ago. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
