Everyone Needs Jesus

In the years I have been in ministry, I have brought the message of repentance and helping people find their way to Jesus. That message will always be a part of what God has called me to do. Years ago, He said to me “prepare for Evangelical ministry and I will make a way”! He has not disappointed me in any way. He has provided what we have needed to do ministry from travel to opportunities. Today I am looking for more opportunities and know that He will make a way. Just because I am not as mobile today as I once was, the message is something that still burns in my heart. People need to turn to Jesus because time is growing short. Just because you may know of Jesus does not make you a Christian, just as walking into a garage doesn’t make you a mechanic. You must turn your life over to Him and seek forgiveness. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the father, except through me.”
Let me take just a second to break that down for you in my own interpretation to what Jesus said. You either have a one-on-one relationship with Him or you do not or will not enter into Heaven. There is no other way but one. Everyone has to repent and ask Jesus into their lives, and I mean everyone. No one is exempt. There was that day many years ago that I had to accept that I was a sinner and repented. The day I received Jesus was a life changing event for me. I am not sure what happened. I was sitting in church with my wife and suddenly it seemed that the pastor was speaking directly to me and somehow, I knew what I had to do. I have never looked back since. Oh, I have my ups and downs, but I don’t give up on Jesus. I know that my name is written down in the Lambs Book of Life and when I die, I will be ushered into heaven. In the meantime, I keep pushing in and telling as many people as I can about Jesus and what it means to have a relationship with Him.
Do you know Jesus as your Savior? If you don’t, there is no time like right now to get your life straight and know that you know that when you die you will be in heaven. It is easy to do. You don’t have to have a bunch of flowery words, or you don’t have to have everything together. Jesus accepts you just as you are, and He will change you from the inside. Just talk to Him as you would a friend, because He is your friend. Realize in yourself that you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive you. Accept what He has for you and you will never be the same. Allow Him to have control of your life and He will change you. Be honest with yourself and don’t make excuses as to why you need to wait or why you can’t, because soon and very soon, it will be too late. When Jesus returns there are no more time. If you see Him return and you don’t know Him as your Savior, you don’t get another chance.
I know that there are those who will in no way accept Him, it is their loss, and the price is very high. Though I tell everyone about Jesus I understand that there will those who will never accept Jesus and that is a fact. Besides, it is not me who gets you saved. I tell what I feel the Lord telling me and then it is up to Him to save, I am just the messenger.
God loves you with a love you will never understand, and He wants you to know that.
