The last few days have been amazing to say the least. On Saturday, I took my grandson and a friend of his fishing at one of the local lakes. We found a place to get off the road and set up our fishing spots then got to fishing. I was located close to another man who had been there almost all day. I struck up a conversation with him, because that is what I do, I have never met anyone who is not a friend even though I have never seen them before or even talked to them. As we sat there talking about fishing, the man (Jeff) mentioned that his pastor comes fishing every now and again. He then proceeded to tell me about his physical problems and how he had a wire in his neck and a remote control to help ease the pain in his neck. Jeff told me that he had been prayed for several times and that nothing had happened so he figured God was not going to heal him. Jeff had no idea that I was a pastor, until he asked me what I do.
I told him that I was indeed a pastor and that with my wife we lead and direct Ream Ministries International. Jeff ask me if I would remember him in my prayers that he would be healed of the pain in his neck. I then began to speak to him about the healing power of Jesus and that Jesus did not want him to be in pain and that he had the answer. Jeff told me that he was not sure prayer works but that he keeps on pressing in for some reason. I told him that God had not given up on him and that the reason he keeps pushing forward was there was something inside of him that was telling him “One Day”. I explained to Jeff that one of the reasons why he was not healed was because he really didn’t believe that it could be done. I told him that we needed to surrender everything to Jesus and believe no matter what. Jeff told me that he wants to believe, but after many times of being prayed for and nothing happening it was very hard to do. I explained to Jeff that he needed to be just like Peter before he took his eyes off of Jesus and began to sink just after walking on the water. Jeff tried to tell me that, back in those days, Jesus was with them and that they could actually see him. I told Jeff that the same way Peter could see Jesus, so could we. I told him that Jesus is with us no matter what and that all we have to do is to focus on him and he is there. I told Jeff just to close his eyes for a moment and focus on Jesus and not fishing. He closed his eyes and then I told him just to quietly say the name Jesus a few times, he did and then something amazing began to happen and I could see the change coming into Jeff’s heart. After a few moments, Jeff opened his eyes and told me that was amazing. I said to him that what he felt was the Holy Spirit and that God was going to touch him. Suddenly, Jeff told me that he was never going to not believe again. He then told me that my showing up there was not an accident and that he thought maybe God sent me to him for a reason. I told him that God directs our lives and that what we had was an encounter with the Holy Spirit, and that it was a divine encounter. That was Saturday, and then came Sunday. Wow what a day, Easter and the honor of getting to worship the resurrection of Jesus Christ. You can’t beat a day like that ever on this earth. God speaks to hearts in ways they have never known before and my prayer is that he will bless them far beyond that. My wife and I after spending Easter with one of our daughters and her family, had to travel over to eastern Washington to attend the funeral of one of my wife’s uncles. We spent the night at her sister’s house then went to the funeral the next day. The awesome thing with all of that is, we got a chance to reconnect with family and friends. God gave us a great and safe trip back to our home. What an awesome God we serve, that something as simple as a safe trip he is there and ready to protect. Something as simple as speaking to a relative you haven’t seen for a long time, God ministers through one or the other to assure both that he is in control. Awesome few days and a touch of God in the process. What is amazing in all of this, is that where ever you go, whatever you do, God will use you if you allow him to. He is not going to force himself on you, so it has to be your choice. Accept what God is saying and do what he is telling you to do, and you will never, ever regret that choice. I know that I will always be looking for his hand and responding, because there is nothing like a touch from our Father. I pray that you will experience a touch of God that will change your life forever. He is always there, he is always speaking, and he is always ready to bless you. The only thing required of you is to accept and to believe. God loves you more than you will ever know and he wants to bless you more than you will ever know. Accept his lead today and then hold on because you are in for the most fantastic ride ever. God, bless you, Steve & Lorraine Ream

Another the best story for the people who are not just into believing god. Such people are always bound of themselves and their thinking I mean how can somebody get healed if god dose not wants it to. A great gesture by the pasture.
