Storms

Have you ever noticed how fast a storm will come?  That is how sometimes a storm comes into our lives, one minute all is well, then a storm, lost job….illness…sick child…death of a family member or friend.  We are not ready, we don’t understand why?
When a rain storm comes we always look for shelter so we can get out of it until it passes.  That is what we need to do when storms of life come we need to run to our shelter JESUS!  He is always there to hold you until
the storm subsides.  Nahum 1:7 says “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.  He cares for those who trust him.  Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble.  The whole chapter talks about God being there.
When we trust that the Lord is going to be there and help us through this storm we come into the SON who shines so bright through the storm and you are thankful HE was there.
Jeremiah 17:7 says “But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in him.”
The outcome of our storm might not be what we thought but we will have the confidence and strength to go on with peace and strength.
God has never promised a life free from storms, but he has promised to be with us in the midst of them and to bring us safety to the other side if we believe in him and rely on him.
Needing strength pray this prayer today:
“Jesus be with me as I go through this storm.  Give me strength, wisdom and peace.  Thank you Lord for what your doing now and in the future in me through me and for me.  In Jesus name, Amen”

If it wasn't for Jesus I would not of been able to get thru the death of my late husband. Psalms 46 is Awesome! Thank you Jesus and thank you Lala for the inspiration.
