Right is wrong and Wrong is right!

I have had this recurring dream with the Scriptures flowing through my head. I wrote the scriptures down and have finally decided they needed to be brought out. I am totally convinced that these dreams are from God and need to be out, so, here you are. Like it or not, it is the truth.

For all of those who haven’t been paying attention, we are in the last days and like it or not God is coming back very soon. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that the world is turned upside down and as the Bible says in Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” We see it regularly on the TV News how this group hates this when this is good or how that group hates this group because they are doing something to help others.

Many people have been asking the question, “when will it end?” I can tell you the answer without even thinking. It will all end very soon at the return of Jesus, but the real question is, are you ready for Christ’s return? Many would not be able to answer that question honestly because they really don’t believe the end is really that close, I can tell you in all honesty that the trumpet will sound sooner than you think. How do you avoid the carnage that is about to take place, “REPENT”

Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior? Have you ever asked Jesus into your life? If you can’t answer those questions with yes, then you desperately need to repent. Once the trumpet sounds, it will be too late and then there will be nothing you can do. Don’t be surprised at what is about to take place, the churches have been telling you for years now, but you probably haven’t been listening. Why does it sound like this is a desperate situation? Because it is a desperate situation. You either know Jesus and step directly into Heaven, or you don’t know Him and end up lost forever. When I say lost forever, I mean for eternity, dot, dot, dot.

Where Is Our Faith

3/31/2020

I have listened to and have seen many posts from people who profess to be Christians. They are in a panic, what is going to happen next? I would like to be able to tell them, but to be completely honest, I have no idea. This I do know, whatever it is that is going to happen, God is in control. Whether you know Christ or not makes no difference, God Is Still In Control! What is going to happen is going to happen no matter what people say or how much they stew and fret over it.

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” I think the key word here is FAITH. For all of us it is going to require Faith on the part of each and every person. We can’t sit back and say things like, what is going on and when is it going to end? We have no control on what is happening and definitely no control over when it is going to end. I would like to say that I have not thought about it but then I would not be telling the truth. My mind works just like everybody else. I would like to have control about everything that affects my life, but I don’t.  I would like to say I have control over my heart problems, and I can handle it myself, but guess what, I don’t, and I can’t. I have to depend upon God to get these things taken care of. I have to have Faith!

I would love to have the faith it takes to move mountains, to have the faith of a mustard seed but I don’t. I am working on those things every day and I continually seek God and His wisdom to do the right things. Like everyone else, I am stuck at home because of the coronavirus and I have no idea when it will be over, but God has given me a peace about it and I do have the faith to know that one day soon it will be over and people will see that God still sits on the throne.

Maybe God has gotten your attention? In 2001 He got our attention when the World Trade Center was hit by terrorists. People everywhere were praying and seeking God and His direction, what happened? Everything got better then people turned away from God once again. Now we are faced with another situation and I hear and see people turning toward God once again. This time I see something different. This time it can directly affect your life regardless of who you are or what you do. It is direct and no respecter of humankind. I tell you this. “Have Faith in God and you will have peace and you will know that God is there and in control.

Love you all, and I will be praying.

Do You Know Jesus As Your Personal Savior?

3/25/2020

I have been giving a lot of thought to what is going on in people's lives. My number one thought is "do they know Jesus as their personal Savior?" The Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". What does that mean and what does it look like? I will try to explain each question to the very best of my ability.

What does John 14:6 mean? After studying this scripture as well as preaching this very subject, I have come to only one conclusion, "Unless you have and know Jesus as your personal Savior, you have nothing. It doesn't make any difference if you know of God or even go to church, unless you have a one on one personal relationship with Jesus and have asked Him into your life to be your Lord and Savior then everything is for naught. The Bible says that we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) As sinners, we are to ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus into our lives. If you think about it God has made it so simple for us, so why do we have such a problem with that? I hear people all of the time say, I know God, yet, you may see a post or hear them say something that in no way is God. You hear them take the Lord's name in vain and their actions are even opposite of the Christian life. If you were God, what would you do or what would you think, yet Jesus is quick to forgive to give them every opportunity to serve Him.

I remember the time before I surrendered to the Lord like it was yesterday. I did everything in the world not to accept what I was feeling. No one was going to call me goody two shoes without a fight. But, one day when I reached my lowest point in life. God, with no questions asked accepted me and I accepted Him into my life. You know the most awesome thing about accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior? He met me right where I was at and accepted me just as I was. He will do the exact same thing for you. You don't have to clean up before you come to Jesus, you just need to accept Him. Jesus is the only Way to Heaven! Jesus is the only Truth about what you will receive! Jesus is the only life because without Him you are dead. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME!

Question two-"What does it look like?" It looks like freedom from the way you used to be. God changes you from the inside out and you continue to live your life except in a new way. Remember that I had said I didn't want to be called goody two shoes? Well, nothing changed, I was still the same person only I looked at things with different eyes. It took a long time for me to get to where I am today and yet with every failure, God forgave me and I learned another lesson. For you to know the truth, I am still a long ways away but every day I have to ask for forgiveness and then try to get it right the next time. One thing you need to understand is, you will never be perfect, you will mess up, you will feel bad, but always remember, God said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). He will always be there to pick you up and put your feet on solid ground. He will always forgive you only because He loves you. John 3:16 tells you all you need to know about God. "For God so loved the world (you and me), He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in me should not perish but have life everlasting"

Can you see how important a relationship with Jesus is? You can be the best person in the entire world, but, without that personal relationship with Jesus, you are just as lost as if you were the biggest murderer in the world. Take that opportunity right now to ask Jesus into your lives. Ask Him for forgiveness and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, then begin to live a new life with the assurance that when you leave this old earth you will go directly to Heaven and have eternal life. Your name will be written down in the book of life and there is great peace in just knowing that .

God bless you

Blog Revival

3/22/2020

Well, I thought I would get started at reviving my blog. You can respond to anything I post or ask any questions, just let me know you are getting this.

First, for those of you who know me you will know that I am transparent, and for those of you who don’t me you will find that I am transparent. There is nothing in my life to hide. I have always tried to tell the truth except when I didn’t. Most everything in my life is in my first book, “I see God in it”

There are a couple of ground rules for this blog you must know. One, I do not under any circumstances argue my Christianity, and Two, I do not argue politics. Simple rules with absolutely no arguments. Everyone has their opinions so I keep mine and I would appreciate it if you keep yours when it comes to either of these rules. Thank You!

I want to use this blog to maybe answer questions that can help you to grow in Christ and encourage you. I don’t know much about anything, but I have had a multitude of things happen where I had the opportunity to watch God move. I will try to promote our ministry, Ream Ministries International. I will try to keep you informed as to how things are going and what is next.

Well, a very short blog this time, but in the future there will be more. I will also be using our newsletter to help with other things happening, like mission trips to the Philippines and fund raisers for those trips.

So, let God be your guide and please comment so I will know what direction you would like to go.

God Bless You
Steve

Today I Received My Healing

2/20/2019

I would like to share with you a dream that I had just the other night and the results of that dream. When I was called by God to the ministry, He gave me specific instructions as to what He wanted me to do. When I heard him call me, He said, Lay hands on the sick and prophesy. My wife reminded me not long ago about how many miracles we have personally witnessed when God had us lay hands on the sick. I have always loved laying hands on people and watching God do the impossible. The hard thing has been for me to lay hands on myself for healing because I have always thought that others were more important than me. God would take care of me and my healing would come in his time and not mine.
Just a couple of nights ago, I had this dream that people were coming to Lorraine and I and we would nothing more than shake their hands and instantly God would heal them. Without saying a prayer, we would only say TOUCH and the power of God would touch them and they were healed. I suppose near the end of the dream, God said to me, “I am coming back, and I want to use you to lay your hands-on people”. I immediately woke up and then began to pray. One of the things I was asking God is, how can I lay hands on people for healing and I am in so much pain that I can hardly walk.
For two days I kept asking God to touch me and make me whole to be a witness to those He wanted me to touch. Yesterday afternoon I noticed that all of the pain in my knees and in my hip was gone. I could walk without my cane or my walker, and this morning was the very same thing. I even went somewhere with my wife and had absolutely no problem getting in or out of the car and could walk like nothing had ever happened. I told my wife, I believe that I am healed, and that God had touched me. Now with this great miracle in my life, I am ready to complete the tasks that He has put before me.
What you need to understand is this, it is not me that does the healing, it is God and God alone. What I do if called upon is to do what God told me to do from the beginning, Lay hands on the Sick and they will recover. I know that you don’t need someone like me to touch you for God to heal you, but you do need God. If you are around and God leads you to go to someone and have them lay hands on you, then do it. God is anointing people everywhere to do exactly what He called me to do. Trust in God and He will touch you. As for me, I will praise God for my healing and trust him for your healing as well.

What are you searching for?

2/10/2019

I am always asking God to give me encouraging words for people or asking him to show me their needs. This morning was no different. I kept quiet and just meditated on what the Lord would be saying to me. Suddenly, I got a word. “What is it people searching for” is what popped into my head.  Perplexing question if you stop and think about it. I have no idea what it is that people want, but I can come up with some thoughts of what I think it is. I will ask you some questions on ideas and you focus on each one and the answer will come to you.
Are you searching for direction from God? Is God speaking to you and telling you to go this way while you think to yourself, I can’t go that way because I have no idea how to do it or that is something that just doesn’t fit my life? If that is what you are thinking, then you have been given your direction by God but have chosen to ignore it. You might ask, what do I have to do? My answer to you is to go back to the last thing God told you to do and start from there. I can think of a ton of other questions and to answer them without you asking is be still before God and he will reveal them to you. God has not forgotten what he has told you to do and he is just waiting on you. You will not be able to go forward until you do what it is he had asked you to do in the first place.
Are you searching for healing? I can speak from personal experience about this question. I have been asking God for over 25 years for complete healing and though I have not been healed, that doesn’t mean that he is not going to heal me. He has touched so many areas of my life already. He healed me from a heart attack in 2003, from cancer in 2007, from a stroke in 2015. Need I go on? What is the secret to receiving complete and total healing? My answer is what I know, Press In! You can’t give in, you must continue to pray and ask God and not give up. Press in without any reservations and know that God will hear you and answer you. You must pray without ceasing or if you would, Pray Until Something Happens. PUSH. Where would I have been had I given up and not continued to ask for what it was I was expecting God to do in my life.
Are you searching for financial stability? This is a hard direction for me to answer. I have been to the point in my life where we not only had nothing, but our nothing had nothing. Why is that? The answer is simple, you can’t live a luxurious lifestyle on a meager budget. Meaning, you can’t live like there is no tomorrow without paying the consequences for what you do. You can’t go out and eat every night of the week and not take care of the pressing money issues in your home. Hard lesson to learn but a very valuable one if you take to heart what God is telling you to do. Sometimes we are forced to bankruptcy because our debt far exceeds our income. I have found that equation fall on us personally. If you want financial security and stability, then you have no other alternative than to be frugal with what you got and be a good steward with what God has given you.
To answer the question, what are you searching for, it can be answered in just a few words from Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Seek God, Stay in his Word and more important Pray!

Our World is Coming to an End

1/31/2019

Friends, there are many people who have forgotten about morals and the things God has warned all of us about. True that many people don’t read the Bible and even more have no idea what it is that God even wants. It is our call to go and preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15). If you are waiting for someone else to do it then we all have a very long wait because someone else has died and it is now up to you and me. The world is heading to hell in a handbasket and we set on the sidelines afraid to say anything or we think it is God’s problem, let God deal with it. If that is the case, then we have a very serious problem.

I think God is about to do something so dramatic that if we are not ready then we will lose the opportunity to tell others about Him. God made a promise that one day he would return and that is exactly what is going to happen, and it will be sooner than we think. People would try to argue the point that people have been saying that he would return for two thousand years and so far, nothing. But if that is what you are thinking then maybe you should try reading the Bible one more time. In 2 Peter 3:8-9, we are told what God thinks about time and God never makes a mistake. God is coming back very soon, and we need to be ready for his return. Even the disciples kept watch day and night waiting for Jesus to return and they told us to do the very same thing.

Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, because of the way the people were acting and if you really want to know the truth, our world is now worse than that. Our TV commercials have reached an all-time low as well as our movies and even conversations on the street. God is coming back! It may not be tomorrow, but if you read the Bible is might be. Our world can no longer go on the path it is headed and very soon God will rectify that problem. No one knows when God will return (Matthew 2:36), not even Jesus, but my prayer is soon and that is the driving force that keeps me telling people about Jesus. “Go preach the Gospel to all creation” Mark wrote it, but it was breathed by God.

Our country needs to turn back to God and if our people don’t know Jesus then they need to know him. There is really no place to hide and no where to run. God is coming back, and this world will be no more. How could God do that? Very easy, he told us many times through the Bible what he was going to do so, we can’t say we weren’t warned. This time it will be final, and we will either be with him in Heaven or in a place with eternal suffering. The choice is yours, please pray and make the right one.

Who is your Hero and Why?

12/1/2018

Other than Jesus, who is your hero? Let me share with you who my hero is and why.
My hero is a biblical character who goes by the name of Peter. As I look at my life, I have the same traits as Peter. He was a fisherman and I love to fish. He was unschooled as described in Acts 4;13, and though I have a college degree, I still liken myself to his simple way of life. Peter would shoot from the hip with is words and actions, as he did in the Garden when he cut off the ear of the guard (John 18:10), many times I speak and act before, I think. So many likenesses, I respect the Apostle Peter.
Now for the real reason why Peter is my hero. Peter had simple faith as do I. I believe what God tells me with no questions asked. Whatever is in the Bible, is total truth and I don’t question it. Peter had great faith in Jesus to a point which was demonstrated on the Sea of Galilee, when in a storm Jesus called to Peter to get out of the boat and come to him. With no questions asked, Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water. It wasn’t until he took his eyes off Jesus that he began to sink. (Matthew 14:22-33) Though I have not walked on the water, I have had my eye on Jesus and when I looked away and took my eyes off him, I would turn away.
One of the greatest things that happened in the life of Peter that I have prayed would happen to me to have such great faith is found in Acts 5:15-16. People would bring their sick into the streets in the hopes that Peter would pass by and his shadow would heal them. My thoughts and prayers have always been that I would walk into a store and people would get healed four rows over.
Peter knew the power of Jesus though Jesus had ascended into heaven. As he and John walked down the street, a crippled beggar was asking for money. When Peter seen him, he went to him and told him, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” (Acts 3:6) I want to know that power in my life as to not doubt what I see around me and only see Jesus in Heaven and do the very same things that Peter did.
There are far greater people out there who have probably done more than Peter, but with everything that went on in Peter’s life, and the way he went about getting things done in his own simple way, Peter is my hero!

I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO THINK?

11/19/2018

I have been watching and listening to what is going on around me, and to be honest I wish I knew what is going on with people. Many have somehow gotten away from God and the Bible. They run their lives just as though God never existed. I know some who are actually leading others to destruction and they are doing it on purpose. I know that God can touch them at any moment, but if they are bent on destruction then let it be on themselves and not all of those around them. People need to get their priorities right and do the things that they at one time committed to. They got saved and their life changed, then one day they hear that God will always forgive you and something inside them goes haywire and they forget about church because it is appealing to them to go party and hang out with those who can care less about them down the path of destruction.
I can see some things in their lives that are not good. They need to be careful what they say and what they do because there is a thing called the unpardonable sin, and it is a very fine line when God is not the head of their life. I guess I don’t understand how they can turn their backs on the one who touched them and more than likely rescued them from a fate that was deadly because of something someone said or did. I know how this goes because I originally did the same thing. I got saved in 1978. Right off the bat God began to send my wife and I out to minister in the churches. I am not really sure why he did that, but he did and many years later I did too. It was one day at church when a man came to me and told me that because my wife and I sang from soundtracks, that music was from the pit of hell. What he had to say to me broke my spirit and at that point I thought I can get the same abuse from the world and I walked away. I didn’t want to hear about church, I didn’t want to hear about God. I told my wife I didn’t care if she went to church or even tithed, but don’t ask me to. For many years I did what I knew, I drank, and I continued with drugs until one fateful day on March 5, 1992 when I heard a voice that actually freaked me out. I was in depression and could care less about anything around me including my wife and children. My wife put on some Christian music and a song came on called Stand and it hit me deep in my spirit and that was when God lifted me up and began to tell me about my life and what it could be like. I had reached the very bottom of the barrel and literally had no where else to turn, but God.
Why are people moving away from God? Maybe they hit the same wall I did. Whatever the reason I pray that they will one day come back. There have been those who found out too late because they passed away in their sin. There have been others who have stepped over that line and have openly admitted they don’t care about God or the Bible. Whatever the Bible says, they have done just the opposite. Yet, they can still be rescued from the hands of the evil one.
I know for my own life, when God rescued me, I knew that I knew I would never go back to the way I was. He has sent many trials my way I am sure to test me in this, but hopefully I passed the test. He healed my body and not only that but my mind as well. Drugs and a few other things have distorted my memory, but I know this, I owe God everything. Having a lack of memory is probably a good thing because God filled it up with things of him and it will never go away. I was telling a friend a long time ago how I can’t remember anything from before and that it was like I had totally lost my memory. He told me that he was sensing from God, that my mind was like a chalk board and God had totally erased it and was filling it with his word and his ways. I got excited and since then I have taken those words and have continued to learn from God. As I have gotten older, some things I don’t remember so well but I still speak about God. I have had a stroke and also a pretty major concussion (for me anyway), and through all of that I have lost some memory, but if you think about it, that makes room for other things, right?
I am not sure what is going on with friends who have chosen to walk away, but I do know this, God is right there waiting to catch them when they reach that bottom of the barrel part of life. He will lift them up and set their feet on the right path once again and hopefully they will see what was done just for them. God loves all of us the same. We struggle, and he comforts us and gets us through. We hurt, and he steps in to heal the pain. What he asks of us is just to love him and to live by the words he set for us in the Bible. We read the Bible and we will see major changes in our lives. We pray, and those changes will be forever part of our lives.
God loves you and will always love you. If you don’t know Jesus, now is the time and today is the day. God made is simple, all you must do is to ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus into your life. Once you do that, you will be changed I guarantee it. Don’t falter in your decision because soon and very soon it will be too late and there won’t be a second chance. Your chance is right now, don’t blow it.
